MICROSENS User Manual Device Server RS-232/422/485 Port to 1x or 2x 10/100TX
and Device Server RS-232/422/485 Port to 1x 100FX
Introduction
Device Server is a clever one RS-232/422/485 port to Ethernet port(s). The
redundant Ethernet ports can auto-recover rapidly when link breaks.
The serial port of devices such as POS terminal, digital display, medical
measurement etc. can be connected to the Device Server over Ethernet just as
locally attached. It provides more powerful ability for accessing multiple hosts
and eliminates the limitation of transmission distance in Ethernet.
